Highfield Netball squad meet Ama Agbeze, England Netball Captain!!

On Saturday 9th February the Highfield Netball squad went on a VIP visit to watch a Superleague netball match – London Pulse v Surrey Storm at The Copperbox.  We were treated to a tour of the stadium, including a look in the changing room and who should we meet in there, but Ama Agbeze, the captain of London Pulse, who is also the England Netball team captain.  You may have seen her playing when England won the Commonwealth Games last summer.  We were able to ask questions and take photos with her.  We were given pink Pulse t-shirts so we could support the home team.

We then met the Pulse mascot, Pulse the Panther.  Then we watched the match, we had seats right at the front behind the team bench.  Unfortunately Pulse lost the match, but it was a great game to watch, to see how fast and physical netball can be.  After the match we went onto the court for photos with the team and we could get autographs of the players.

We also had a photo with the London Pulse players after the match.  We had a great evening and hopefully the squad are inspired for when we represent Bromley at the London Youth Games in March!
