|"One thing I wish the school would express to the children is that if they have a doctors appointment it does not affect their attendance."||Unfortunately we are given very clear guidance by the government on how to record any absence from school and doctors and medical appointments do impact on absence rates overall. When we give out certificates we celebrate both 100% and 99% attendance as we know that some children have medical appointments which cannot be moved to our of school time.|
|XXXX is delighted at getting to be a school Councillor and go on the trip to the Houses of Parliament. The trips and visits from outside organisations are really impressive.||Thank you|
|It would be nice to have a little bit more contact with the class teacher.
I know we are trying to get the children a bit more independent but in Year 3, they are still very young.
|Teachers are always happy to speak to parents and carers after school; please do make contact with them. We are trying to build independence but do want parents and carers to be actively involved.|
