The Year 4 teachers are:

Plum Class: Miss Cosburn, Mrs Lowth

Birch Class: Miss Poole

Lime Class: Miss O'Prey, Lower School Lead

Homework is set on a Thursday to be returned on the following Tuesday. In addition, spellings are available on this page.  They will be assessed in a variety of ways at the end of each week.

It is important for your child to read regularly at home across a range of texts. We would expect all children to read three times a week AT LEAST. Reading Records should be brought in to school every day.  Class teachers will check them once a week.  As well as extending their vocabulary this will hopefully develop a life-long love for reading, something we value very highly at Highfield Junior School.
